Velo-City: Vancouver & the Bicycle Revolution is opening June 4, 2009 at the Vancouver Museum. I’m really looking forward to this exhibit. Not only will it showcase Vancouver’s bicycle culture, past and present, it will also have a few photos of mine in it. The bicycle culture in Vancouver is something that has really taken off in recent years. With all the sub-cultures that have emerged from the area in the past few decades (North Shore Mountain Biking, downtown couriers, booze cruisers and the BMX scene) it never ceases to amaze me just how great Metro Vancouver is for cycling, no matter what type of two-wheeler you ride.
